Motherhood and Creative Practice

I was honoured to have been selected to present a paper at the Motherhood and Creative Practice conference at South Bank University this week. It was a fantastic two days. Met some amazing and talented women, including Griselda Pollock and Valerie Walkerdine, and the mix of academic papers, performances and artwork made it a unique and innovative conference. The programme with all abstracts can be read here. My name was spelled wrong, so ignore that (you can read my abstract on page 20). My paper was on the representation of homosexual characters on US sitcoms, in relation to surrogacy storylines.
