Yo people! You have to check out the new band I am working with, Killer Whale. They are a modern day live disco band inspired by the sounds coming out of the downtown mutant dance scene of NY in the late 70s & early 80s, that combine hidden innuendos, life affirming possibilities, buddhist mantras and improvised observations of their everyday life. Hell yeah!
The band is led by Andy Williams (Yam Who?/Fuzz Against Junk) and the collective overflows with musical talent – the star line-up includes members of the infamous Faze Action and genre defying Yam Who? Look out for their first EP this April, with remixes by Gramme, Leo Zero and Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy.
The band are playing live Saturday March 20th at the Horatia and April 9th at the Queen of Hoxton.
