Academic, DJ, author, copywriter, sub-editor, music consultant and educator.
Lulu is an academic with a PhD in Sociology from Goldsmiths. She is a Visiting Lecturer and Module Leader for University of West London, Roehampton, and University of Westminster, where she is currently supervising BA Commercial Music students. Her first book ‘Surrogacy and the Reproduction of Normative Family on TV’ is out this July through Palgrave Macmillan.
Lulu is also a professional DJ – or as she likes to describe herself, a “PhDJ” – with residencies at the Ned, Electric House and the House of St Barnabas in London.
Alongside her DJ and academic work, Lulu is a qualified sub-editor, copywriter, and is co-founder of music consultancy agency TAON (The Art of Noise) that elevates health and fitness brands through music.
